Yoga for Scoliosis: Day 18

yoga practice at a gym

My dudes, I really effed up my leg yesterday. I don’t know if it was the pigeon or… well, I think it was the pigeon. My right upper/inner thigh is in a lot of pain through my hip, causing me to almost limp when I walk. I think it was also the fact that I slept very soundly and longer than usual, too, so I didn’t move too much while I was sleeping. I took it easy this morning and went to the gym closer to 2:30. Did a liiiiight half hour on the recumbent bike to try to loosen the hip up a bit and then did a ten minute liiiiight yoga in the back of the gym after. (Very happy that my husband and I were the ONLY ones in the gym the entire time we were there today!)

30 Day Yoga Challenge: Day Eighteen

I did a couple down dogs, a couple child’s poses, some crescent lunges and warrior IIs, but mostly, I sat with my soles touching in a deep seated, forward fold. I tried to send as much breath into the pain and we’ll see if it helped. Hopefully tomorrow feels better, because this is no fun! I have no other notes, pretty basic today.

Namaste and see you tomorrow!
