Yoga For Scoliosis: Day 8

A short post today. It was a very long day; draining, but okay. After everything was all said and done, today ended up being about a 13-hour day with no down time. Such is life! The weather was perfect once the sun went down. We opened all the windows downstairs, and the cool breeze, soft lamp light in the corner, and the bugs chirping made the living room a super comfy place. I rolled out the mat and started doing my own stretch routine, no video today.

30 Day Yoga Challenge: Day Eight

I mostly recreated my favorite flow-combos from the videos I’ve done the past few days; a warrior II > reverse side angle > triangle > reverse warrior flow that I love, plus the crescent lunge > eagle arms/legs flow from yesterday. I peppered in plenty of gentle neck and upper back stretches, and some hip flexor positions, as well.

Other Notes:

  • My prized position is my 2003 state champion basketball t-shirt from high school.
  • I got to spend a large part of today in downtown Minneapolis; I love big, big cities and I had fun walking around during the little bit of free time I had.
  • It felt nice to just stretch tonight without listening to a video. I ended up getting a good 20 minutes worth of yoga in!

Namaste and see you tomorrow!
